Why choose Babylist?
There's no better way to shop for baby equipment. Where else can you find informed advice you can trust? In the last fifteen years we've helped thousands of new parents get the right things and so make life with a new baby easier and, we hope, even happier. Our clients love the service ? most of our new clients come to Babylist because friends have recommended us.
When should I come and see Babylist?
Between five and six months through pregnancy (roughly between weeks 21 and 26) is the ideal time to come and see us but we also advise clients throughout pregnancy and afterwards.
Do I pay more for things through Babylist?
No. Everything at Babylist is offered at the manufacturers' Recommended Retail Prices ? just like in the shops. We also save you money: at Babylist you won't buy things you won't need.
What does Babylist mean by independent?
Department stores will tend to recommend the things they have in stock. At Babylist we have a showroom full of samples but we don't have a warehouse full of stock. Instead we order everything individually for you. That's why we can say we are truly independent.
Will I buy things I don't need?
Not from Babylist. It's our job to recommend what you'll need and, just as importantly, to advise you what you won't.
Who are the Babylist consultants?
All our consultants are experienced mothers with in-depth knowledge of nursery products and baby equipment.
Can I get whatever I want at Babylist?
Babylist orders from a huge range of manufacturers, so we can source products from all round the world.
Does Babylist have a catalogue?
No. We believe it's important to see and touch the things you're buying for your baby ? so we have samples in our showroom. Once you've made your choices, we order everything direct from the manufacturers.
Can I bring someone along to my consultation?
Of course. While most Babylist clients come by themselves or as a couple, others bring along their mother, a friend or other family member.
Is everything covered by manufacturers' warranties?
Yes. If something needs to be replaced, we'll arrange it for you.
Can I change my order?
You can change your mind and your order as often as you like, up until you confirm the order and set the date for delivery. After that we'll take back goods in exceptional circumstances only.
What about delivery?
We deliver within time slots of three hours or less and our delivery team will put things where you want them. We also offer a range of services where we will unpack and take boxes away, and even assembly items for you.
